St. Patricks Day

Saint Patrick´s Day is celebrated on the 17th of March all over the world by the Irish community and is a traditional day for spiritual renewal and offering prayers for missionaries worldwide.

This day is celebrated with parades, wearing green, music, songs food and drink, and activities for kids such as crafts, colouring and games.

Shopping center Puerto Rico is proud to be taking part in this celebration, which will start on Tuesday 13th right through to Saturday 17th. 

There will be a stand located in the main Shopping Centers passage way where we invite you all to come and take a free photo between 18:00 and 21:00 from the 13th to Saturday 17th.     

The very talented O'Neill and Allsopp Flute Band that have flown in from Belfast especially for this occasion due to the growing community of Irish businesses inside the shopping center and the regular visits of Irish tourists that come back year after year to celebrate this special day here on the island will be privileging the main streets of the Shopping Center with their gifted music.         

On Saturaday the 17th O´Neill & Allsopp Flute Band will march through the Center towards to the beach.

This is the offer from each individual bussiness witin the Shopping Center Puerto Rico :   

The Four Provinces will open from 9,00am onwards, showing all live sports and live music all day long with An Spairad and Gary the Guitarist.

They will also be serving delicious home-made Irish Stew, burgers and hot dogs courtesy of the house.

Dicey Reilly's will be opening the bar around 11.00am.

All live sports will be shown including the England – Ireland rugby match.

They will have four different top musicians playing during the course of the day:

Ami O'Grandy
Nial Moore
and Dale Dale 

The day will be hosted by DJ Robbie Millen, from Dublin and Tipperary Sean. 

As they do every year they will be offering a courtesy barbecue and giving away signature t-shirts.

The Harp Bar will be open from 11,00am and along with the one and only Stevie York they will be offering live music, dancing, comedy and craic all day long.

They will have guest appearances from Rob Gorman, Jason Byrne, Peter Spence, Christy Jones and No 1 Karaoke presenter Shona Mclean. 

All Rugby matches will be shown:
Italy - Scotland 12:30
England – Ireland 14:25 
Wales – France 17:00

Don't miss out on the party bags, hats, flats and face painting and there will be a barbecue at 15:30 and a special Irish stew for all to enjoy.

Molly Malones will open in the afternoon to show the Ireland – England rugby match at 14:45 and on the evening as usual, they will be offering live music from their resident band with special guest appearances and dancers.  

Scruffy Murphy's will be opening from 10.00am till late, with live entertainment during the day and evening .
Live sports will also be shown and they will be offering a tasty Irish Stew courtesy of the house. 

Murphy's Kitchen will open as always from early in the morning but will be putting on a delicious Irish Stew as well as the normal menu
They will also be showing live sports and rugby matches.  

The Pub will be open from early morning with great drink offers all day long, live Irish music and all sporting events will be shown.(Football and Rugby)
Irish stew courtesy of the house will also be available.  

The Shamrock will be opening as usual during the day showing live sports.

In the evening they will have live music and Kelly Marlow's Classic Rock at 23:30 

Bora Bora will open from 10,00am onwards, they will be offering a barbecue and Irish Stew courtesy of the house, Irish music, and all live sports will be shown.
